  • i recommend u some of my fav. that u missed in ur list

    janis joplin
    the doors
    jefferson airplane
    bob dylan
    Crosby, Stills, Nash and young
Muddy waters... if u like old blues
    johnny cash

  • you like what you like, who cares.

  • It sounds like you like a lot of different genres.
and usually you can't be called a poser because of that.
unless you dress really metalcore and listen to the Jonas Brothers instead of Metallica.
that's a mix of two totally different things and would honestly bother me.

but I don't think you can be called a poser for liking older and newer stuff.

  • If you don't influence my life in anyway then I don't care.

  • Uhm... that's a nice long list. I guess not everyone has the time, energy to look into their favourite bands in detail. So... no . It's okay.

  • IMO it only makes you a poser if you proclaim that you're a true fan of any of those bands. There's nothing wrong with digging only a couple of songs - you can't always control what you like and don't like. As long as you think you like enough songs, that's all that really matters.

But it seriously wouldn't hurt if you gave some of their other stuff a decent go.

  • No and
    Yes.

  • Velvet Revolver
    Motley Crue
    Puddle Of Mudd
    The Offspring
    Buckcherry
    SIXX AM
    Disturbed
    Aerosmith
    RCHP

  • Well it's a nice list at least, way better than the people who go "Do I listen to good music? I only listen to Paramore, Metro Station, and Nickelback!!!!!!" I guess you're not a poser, I dunno, I dunno you in real life so .... lol. But you don't seem like one. I do recommend trying to find more music of course though - there's so much out there! Haha.

Dead Can Dance? Not bad. I like "The Carnival" and "Frontier".

Garbage, ah, nice! I definitely recommend the albums Garbage and Beautiful Garbage, even though they only have 4 so it's not like there's a dozen to sort through lol.

Nightwish? My favorite band. Dark Passion Play is okay I suppose, but my favorite album is Once. You might not like it though, if you're not into operatic voices like Tarja's, but most of the songs on that album are amazing. "Planet Hell", "The Siren", "Ghost Love Score", and the B-side "White Night Fantasy" are my favs from that album.

No Within Temptation, eh? The singer's voice isn't as operatic as others, and it's more rock than metal. My favorite album is The Silent Force - I highly recommend it as well.

    Good luck. :)
