I'm not able to get Dolby Digital via XBMC. It works fine using XBOX DVD drive.. (before I installed XBMC). How should I approach resolving this.
I did set the Digital output setting in Audio settings.
How are you connecting to the DD/DTS amp?
I'm sorry to ask this dumb question. How do I go into MS Dashboard? I'm new to XBMC. I have EvolutionX and I do get a Evolution menu when I start XBox. Is it in there?

Btw, I connect to my receiver using Optical cable
Perhaps your audio setting has been reset, try going into MS Dashboard and checking audio settings there to make sure they are setup right.
It should be loadable from your evo-x dash.
But if it's not, then load XBMC and use the file manager to launch c:xboxdash.xbe
or depending on your setup it could be somethingelse.xbe

I dont think any changes at all have to be made in M$ dash anymore.... XBMC will control everything....
