How do i "dissect" a waff file on my Mac ? Created by Internet
Explorer to save a webpage and, with the appropriate options selected,
its images and linked pages. I want to access the saved
webpages' "parts" i.e. images. As the website is saved, the individual
image files are listed, but saved in a waff file.

The WAF file format is a proprietary file archive format used by
Internet Explorer for the Mac, to store a collection of Webpages and
linked documents. Unfortunately, IE does not provide users with the
ability to extract files from these archives.
All hope is not lost though. Luckily, there are a couple of (free)
utilities available, that allow you to do what you want. Try them out.
- WebArchivConverter 1.0.1

This utility converts IE's WebArchive files into normal ZIP
archives, which can then be open, viewed and their contents extracted,
on any Mac or PC machine.
- WAFInspec 1.0a

WAFInspec is a small application for MacOSX, enabling you to
directly browse, preview and extract contents of Web Archive Format
files, like the
cache files for MS Internet Explorer, and WebArchives created by the
Save As... function.
