I'm developing a Street Fighter style game using AS2. Its pretty simple keystrokes, Up is jump, Down is crouch. Well the problem is that in Internet Explorer, when you press DOWN to crouch, the browser scrolls down. Same when you press UP, it scrolls up. This does Not happen in beloved Firefox. And this is an issue that Must be fixed. Any ideas on how this is possible to fix? Well that would be my thought, if i wanted to isolate the peice in one seperate browser, but if i wanna embed it in say, a myspace page, for example, its going to have a scrollbar, see what i mean? Its a big issue. If the down button can make the fighter crouch and also make the scroll bar scroll down. Then how about making the browser have no scrollbar? using css stylesheet and the code body { height: 100%; overflow: hidden; } ? hehe!! just asking....
