For the past 6 months I've noticed Petsmart quit stocking Syrian hamsters at two local stores. I called the local manager and was told this was company wide now. The excuse was by the time they are brought to the stores they had gotten aggressive. I do not buy that whatsoever. We've purchased Syrians for many years now at Petsmart and they were always great pets. Anyone knows like any pet you have to give it attention and work with its behavior. If that was the real reason they would not sell any small pets whatsoever. Has anyone else noticed this or have any further information? I tried to contact Petsmart.com but they told me they do not communicate with the physical stores.
