I am afraid that I heated my second babies bottles, (almost 8 years ago) in the microwave for a few months.?

  • All of her bottles were plastic and some probably had bpa in them. I just shook them a lot to make sure there were no hotpsots. But, I didn't realize that it could be giving her a ton of plastic into her body. I give her cod liver oil now and try to get her to eat lots iof cruciferous veggies like broccoli. Are there any other kid frindly herbs, (like maybe cinnamon etc.), or foods that can help get plastics, (xenoestrogens) out of her body? thank you for any help.

  • I'm sure she will be fine as long as she is kept healthy.Although I do agree that people should use BPA free bottles, plenty of babies who used BPA bottles have no problem with reproduction and such.


  • Leave well enough alone. Don't alter the diet in any way other than make it a generally healthy one.

    Besides, kids eat tons of dirt and other inedible stuff all the time anyway.

    Maybe YOU should be taking DOUBLE doses of cod liver oil for all the stuff you have ingested over the course of a longer lifetime?
