I was in a hurry yesterday morning i didnt have time to shut down my computer so i turned it off. when i went to start up my computer my windows wouldn't start up.. i keep getting an error message. i tried to reboot my computer with disc that came with the computer but it didnt work... anybody know what i can do to make my computer start up? its an emachine...
press F8 several times while booting up, and got into safe mode, stay there for a few minuted, do a normal shut down, Wait two minutes and then turn it back on. (you do it this way because once you get into the windows environment nothing you do will probably work) Sometimes this will resolve the issue.

i dont know about emachines but i do know if your computer does initially boot to the emachine logo or somehting of that factor you can push one of the following to go to system recovery ( back to the way you got it out the box)
